The children from New Life Children's Home and Rescue Center really appreciate sponsors support in their lives. I asked ahead of my arrival for the kids to practice a song so we could record it. On Sunday afternoon, we were able to get together over 100 kids and record songs. Despite all of the external noises, kids had a lot of fun doing those videos. On this page we also included original Christmas songs written by Iranes Norde and performed by Venessa, Daniela, Christela, Darline, Youseline, Nerlie, Sophonie. The video with one of those songs as background music is Noel in Haiti. Pictures from last year Christmas at New Life were furnished by Sherry Frederick.
I have been visiting New Life Children's Home and Rescue Center for over a year. During each of my visits, children have been engaging in music, singing for themselves and for visitors as well. Earlier this year they approached me to record them singing. So this was my goal for the October 2011 visit. During our recordings of Christmas music, I noticed a very unique voices of individual children. Since they have no organized music lessens, I was able to record them individually singing a cappella and play it back to them so they can learn what they can do with their voices. I have to say that we all had a lot of fun during our music lessons. Music is a part of their lives.

New Life Children's Home in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, was established in 1977. Our desire for the children at NLCH is that each child in our care know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Our goal is to impart hope and a renewed vision for their future through teaching the wisdom of God's Word and equipping and preparing them through education and training to reach their potential as influential leaders in their homes, communities and nation.
