some pictures from Haiti... :)

The girls surprised me for my birthday with sparklers and candles in some bread :) We had cake later, when Sarah (director of New Life Orphanage) found out:)

This pink building is the guest house where we were staying at New Life children's home. It was a little oasis away from the chaos and poverty we saw each time we left to help other orphanages.

This is some of the devastation still there in Haiti from the earthquake over a year ago. Notice the little red and blue in the top right  window- that's someone's laundry. People are living in the rubble! As we passed by, I saw someone in the bottom left window too. They just have no resources to rebuild.
