6 lovely ladies are headed to Haiti Aug 24 2011. Help us and be a part of making a difference!
We are thrilled for this opportunity to reach out with God's love to these people in desperate need.We are planning on serving at the New Life Orphanage in Haiti and helping out Kim O'Dwyer. As you all know, Haiti has suffered an incredible amount these past couple years, and the suffering continues, as this developing country struggles to get back on it's feet. In these tent cities especially. I have seen on YouTube, the tents are dissolving already from the heat, sun and humidity. We hope to help out by doing a building project, something that is a more permanent option to tents. Cholera, Malaria and Dengue Fever  has been the latest struggle, and we would ask for your prayers.

The ones I think that have suffered the most are the children. Having lost parents and having nowhere to turn, the only hope they have is in the orphanages. There are some wonderful, loving servants who have given up their lives in comfort, who have given up their families and friends to stay there and pour out their lives for these children. It is our hope to be a blessing and encouragement to these kind souls, while loving and caring for the children. We we also be involved with feeding the homeless and helping in a building project we are raising money for :-)
