Dear Friends When God laid on my heart to help the children of Haiti, more than 35 years ago, there were many opportunities for me to lose heart. But I know without a doubt this is God's ministry because he has made a way, every time, when the way in front of us looked hopeless. He made a way for us to continue being His hands, to help answer the prayers of so many who are in, what seems to the natural eye, a hopeless situation. I want to encourage you in the Lord, to keep praying for us and to keep your hearts open to Gods voice, concerning His will for you in Haiti; to help Him shine His light in one of the darkest nations on earth. We raise our hands and voices, praising Him, our God, who has faithfully paved the way for us to continue helping these children throughout the years. To God be the glory! With God all things are possible. The needs are great everywhere, I understand, but your prayers, financial gifts and physical help have all been important in keeping this ministry operating. We are a rescue center for God to do His work in a country where there is so much devastation and lack and we are forever grateful for your gifts, love and prayers. Here are photos of two children we were blessed to rescue and nurture back to life years ago. Eric and William were both dying of severe malnutrition. The doctors had little hope for their survival but we prayed and little by little, day by day, these two precious children survived. New Life Children's Home has brought in hundreds of children in critical condition, throughout the years, just like Eric and William. Now they have grown up to be strong and mighty men for the Lord. We were blessed to have the two of them return and stay at New Life Children's Home this past May. They shared their love for God and their appreciation to everyone who was instrumental in caring about their lives, nurturing them back to health, and bringing them up in the principals of Gods Word.They touched the lives of everyone at New Life Children's Home. It was a blessing to see the salvation of the Lord shine through them. Knowing how all these children came to us: dying, traumatized and with battered emotions, and to see them now laughing, singing and praising God, not remembering the condition in which they came, is a miracle. God provided a way for us to be able to take care of them, through you- your prayers, financial gifts and love. Thank you for all you do to help make a difference in the lives of so many children.
