Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead . . . 1 Peter 1:3 Dear Friends, We hope and pray that you had a blessed Easter. As we celebrated the resurrection of our Savior in service Easter morning, we could only rejoice, as we watched the children worship- singing praises unto our Lord. They were all dressed up looking so sweet, especially the girls in their home-made dresses with matching bows. The smiles and laughter, only grew bigger and louder as the day progressed. Everyone got an Easter Basket with all kinds of goodies. They were all so excited . It was an emotionally charged day for us (the teams and staff) fellowshipping with these precious children, who are all a testimony of our great God and His resurrecting power. Alchrist, one of the older teens, talked to the kids about Jesus - He has risen! Many of the children shared what they were thankful for. The children celebrated throughout the day writing and drawing with sidewalk chalk, playing soccer, singing, dancing and laughing. Later in the day, three other orphanages came to New Life Children's Home and joined us for a beautiful Easter dinner.Thank you- to all who provided this special day- and for the volunteers who showed the kids unconditional love by being here to serve. We cannot express how grateful we are for you and your gifts that help to raise these children in a safe, loving and Godly environment. Thank you for being the hands of Jesus.
