Happy New Year to all our friends and family,

Sorry this is such a late New Years Greeting, but we do hope and pray that 2012 will be a great year for each one of you in whatever sphere of life that you are in.

Here at Mission of Grace we are excited about 2012.  We have looked back on our first year as a mission in 2011 and all that we saw God do and it brings us anticipation for what God has in store for Mission of Grace and the people of Carries, Haiti in 2012.  Already this year we have built a new well in the community with sweet water, Praise the Lord.  We found sweet water at 180 feet.  We also started to build the wall around the orphanage, we took in 3 new babies, we had our first medical clinic in our church and that was very successful.  A group from California came and saw 500 patients.  We have 1 new grandma who came from a very poor part of Port Au Prince and the day she came to us we checked her blood pressure and it was 220/160, she was very close to having a stroke so we rushed her to the hospital and they cared for her for 3 days and now she is back with us smiling and thriving in her new home.  We continue to marvel at God’s timing.  If she would have stayed in her tent in Port Au Prince she would have died a few days later but it was not her time to die.  God sees His children and cares for His children no matter where we are.  In God’s eyes we are all precious and worth it to Him.  We also received twin girls 20 days old.  Their mom abandoned them and left them in a house to die, but a woman was passing by their home and heard them crying and went into the house and found them and brought them to us a few days later but they had been feeding these babies boiled crackers and baby food.  So we took them to the orphanage and 3 days later one of them became very sick, her name is Ruth and so we brought her over to the doctors that had just come from California and they thought she might die but God gave them His wisdom to care for her and she is alive today and growing and just had her 1 month birthday.  Another story of God seeing His children and bringing them into a safe home and preparing professionals to care for them.

2012 Mission of Grace starts the new year with 80 children in Grace Community School, 29 children in Children of Grace Orphanage, 130 people a week attending Grace Community Church and 6 elderly woman in Home of Grace.  We are excited to see how God moves us this year, because THROUGH HIM ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.

Our Project this year is to build a Medical Clinic.  We feel that that is one of the greatest needs in this community and for our Mission to be able to provide medical care and people who care for the physical needs of the community but also providing opportunity to meet the spiritual needs of this community through health care.

Thank you to all of you for following us this past year and believing in us and what God is doing through Mission of Grace.  We are excited to continue to partner together this year to see a change in the hearts of the people here in Carries, Haiti.

May God Richly Bless you this year

Ms. Lynn and Kim
