Earth Quake... Three year memorial. What a powerful day in all of Haiti as thousands marched the streets in white, church's all over the country held prayer and fasting all praying for and remembering the families who lost loved ones as over 300,000 died, also leaving thousands homeless, children orphaned, and families displaced. Literally multi thousands would end up on the streets and tents suffering without even the basic needs of food, medicine and water. To this day thousands remain in tents. Today the country not only remembers those who died, but thank God for life itself. Cite Soliel had over 50,000 people marching and giving thanks to God. It is so good to see so many thousands in unity in this country today honoring God. At New life, we will never forget the devastation as walls tumbled down and buildings shook, walls cracked, some beyond repair, and the cries around the country that seemed endless. Little did we know that New Life church would become a hospital for children after amputations, and our compound would house hundreds of workers. We brought children with limbs amputated by the truckloads from hospitals to New Life. The tents on our property filled up with workers from all over the world. Container with supplies came that would save the lives of many. At new life, God helped us to cook for hundreds that came to work but we could never tell you how it was stretched and done, but supernaturally, God always made it enough. Outside we stayed busy directing food and workers to tent cities and orphans, the sadness was overwhelming. We then became a station for the prosthesis clinics. Now, three years later our orphanage has grown, we have over 130 children we care for. Today our church was full of all of our workers, singing, dancing, and praising God for life, and his blessings. The presence of God filled the church as some of our workers and children began to dance and worship. I can only thank GOD today for His blessings, and that all of our children and workers were kept safe, and for everyone who came to be the hands of Jesus, and still are His hands today for us.
