CALEB NATHANIEL

This little child was literally dumped off at the tent city orphanage, the mother dead, and the father fearful he would die and unable to care for him left as quickly as he came in the night, saying.. take him and do whatever you can for him, I don't want him to die too! With no history, or birthdate. We went to the tent city orphanage this week as always to deliver food, we found this little guy burning up with fever, the head lady doing her best to bring it down with wet rags. He was covered from head to toe with raised blisters resembling chicken pox, but unsure. She begged us to help him and bring him to new life. We hesitated to bring him back as to not expose the children but gave medication, and quickly called our pediatrician to meet us at new life the next am, knowing if we did not take him, he may die. What a miracle! He was sick with respiratory congestion, and completely covered with scabies. He had scratched himself so badly trying to itch, that he had big welts across his belly. Into loving arms and the newlife clinic he came. A good bath, scrubbed his head, ointment to his entire body, baby powder, good food and lots of love, he looked like a new child as he began to smile. Inside that hurting body was a real child that now will laugh and play and that Jesus has a plan for. Now a few days later, he is everyones delight as he jumps up and down in his jumper chair laughing. We had the joy of naming him and giving him an approximate age and date of birth. feb 17. The day God gave him To us, he is approximately fourteen months old. Just one more trophy forCabel

Jesus.

This is little Caleb today, less than one week later, an extremely happy child, full of  fun. The greatest healer is love.
